Sam Cannon is an artist and director based in LA. She creates a genre-blending universe that utilizes photography, video, installations, and performance. Her prowess in practical and CGI effects has become an essential element of her work—often creating the visual effects for her projects. Her theatrical approach to video and immersive installations shows her passion for lighting and stage design. Her commercial clients include Apple, Sony, The Sierra Club, Adobe and Nike.

Sam has exhibited multimedia installations at Art Basel Miami Beach, Mana Contemporary, and SPRING/BREAK Art Fair—and has lectured at The School of Visual Arts, George Washington University, The International Center for Photography, and The George Eastman Museum.
